MESSAGE FROM MRS DAYNA CHIA MINN, PRINCIPAL OF TEMASEK SECONDARY SCHOOL

Dear Parents,

Greetings from Temasek Secondary School (TMS)!

TMS is known in the Singapore education landscape for enabling students to excel holistically. By providing a vibrant and nurturing environment, Temasekians have developed into confident young individuals who contribute well to the school community, nation and beyond. This positive outcome would not have been possible without the strong support of teachers, alumni and parents. Over the years, TMS has established a purposeful and meaningful working relationship with parents as a child’s learning in school must be continued, reinforced and enhanced at home.

At TMS, the Parent Support Group (PSG) provides a strong arm of support through various ways that have made a difference to fellow parents, teachers and students. Indeed, the PSG comprises alumni PSG members who continue to journey with TMS even though their children have graduated from the school. This wonderfully illustrates that the relationship between our parents and TMS is forged in friendship.

As a new member to the Temasekian family, I have found the warmth and friendliness of the PSG, teachers, students and alumni very assuring. May I encourage you to join the PSG at TMS so that we can partner each other as we journey together toward developing your child to the best of his or her ability.
