Racial Harmony Concert

Racial Harmony Concert 

 

A concert was held on 22nd July for the lower secondary students to celebrate Racial Harmony Day. It was organised by the NE (National Education) Committee of the school.

 

The audience was treated to performances by the students which include a fashion show competition for the secondary one students.

 

Ms Christine Ong, a Peranakan hersealf spoke on "The Peranakan Culture" and also demonstrated with help from two student models on the kebaya fastening and sarong tying.

 

Ms Ong has also written a book entitled "Nyonya Kebaya".  Many thanks to PSG members who attended the concert.
