PSG - ORGANIZED LUNCH FOR TEACHERS' DAY

In conjunction with Teachers’ Day Celebrations this year, the Temasek Parent Support Group of Temasek

Secondary School organized a lunch get-together for all the teachers and staff of the school on 28th August 2008.  To show our appreciation and support for all their hard work, parent volunteers prepared a scrumptious buffet for their feasting held at the Student Centre.   It was the first time the PSG had organized such an event and I must say, it was quite an enjoyable afternoon!


There was a mouth-watering spread of Nasi Briani, Beef Rendang (by yours truly), Lontong gravy, Sambal Tumis (by Faridah), Mee Siam, Pastas (specially prepared by Annette), Gado2 and not forgetting the muffins, fruit-tarts, cheesecakes and fruits for desserts!


Even the tables were decorated with rose petals to enhance the ambience! One by one the teachers and staff strolled over and tucked into the buffet spread. We were delighted by the steady stream of people who came, although some staff were unable to attend. All in all, with the feedback we received, I can safely say it was a success!!


Now, what shall we plan for next year?! Whatever it is, rest assured the PSG members will come up with something good!
