Team Temasek IV will be going to Cambodia for their Overseas CIP from 19th May to 26th May 2008.
Three teachers, namely Miss Lim Chek Quay, Miss Jacinta Yeo and Mr Toh Kim Sing will be leading a group of 24 Temasek students there.

During the one-week trip, the Team will be involved in various projects, such as re-painting and re-roofing 12 houses at the HIV village at Phnom Voah and teaching children basic English there; providing basic medical supplies and stationery to children living in the vicinity of “Rubbish Dumpsite”; and providing basic necessities such as rice and stationery to the handicap children and their families at the Handicap Centre. And if funds permit, the Team will also purchase wheelchairs and sewing machines for the Centre.

Parents responded enthusiastically to Team Temasek IV’s request for funds by holding a Food Fair on Wednesday, 14th May from 8 am to 1.30 pm. A total of 21 parents were present to support and help in this event. Some had prepared delicious food items such as fried rice, spaghetti, fried beehoon, fried macaroni, curry puffs, jellies, tea-eggs, cakes and bubble tea for sale to the students and staff. The response was overwhelming and by 11.30 am, most of the food were sold out and we had collected a total of $1044.40 from the food fair.

Together with cash donation made by parents, the total amount raised for the Oversea CIP to Cambodia was $3144.40
PSG would like to thank all parents for your kind support and generous contributions in this worthy cause to help the less fortunate in Cambodia.
Thank you for being part of this OCIP project with us.
